Whenever I get holidays, I want to spend them with my family in Turkey. Turkey is an exquisite place to visit. Her spectacular natural beauty, historical and archeological sites, good infrastructure, hospitality and competitive prices make me enjoy my holidays in peace. It is bestowed with splendid mountains, valleys, waterfalls, rivers and lakes, which make it a perfect spot for summer and winter. Its shores are embellished with beaches, ports, islands, peninsulas and coves. To top it all, Turkey is an excellent place for enjoying skiing, mountain climbing, hiking and hunting.

It is very easy to book cheap holidays to Turkey. You can find hundreds of quality, bargain holiday packages that include flight and hotel. You can use the service of reliable websites to book by specifying the destination and depart areas, date of journey, number of nights you want to stay, number of rooms, number of children and adults, board basis and so on. I used to choose All inclusive package for seven nights in a 3Star hotel that costs me around 350 pounds.

There are numerous attractive destinations in Turkey- my favorite among them are Antalya and Bodrum. Antalya, the Turkish Riviera is the most fabulous spot located in the heart of Kaleici. You can find many wooden Ottoman mansions that are restored and turned into boutique hotels. Cars are not allowed in the narrow streets of this town, so you can enjoy the atmosphere around the beautiful harbor. The ambience of this region is typical Mediterranean- hot in summer and pleasant in winter. It is a perfect choice for holidays, honeymoons, family outings, sports and leisure activities. It would cost around 400 pounds per person for flights and accommodation. If you want to enjoy a comfortable stay in a beach resort that features all the amenities like TV area, free sun beds, laundry service, restaurant, swimming pool and massage, it would cost you 100 to 150 pounds more.

Bodrum is an amazing destination with its pleasant climate, natural beauty, sea, history and modern nightlife. It carried imprints of various civilizations and cultures like the Persian, Roman, Helen, Ottoman and Carian. If you are a lover of history, Bodrum Castle would fascinate you. It was built by the Knights of St.John. It hosts the Bodrum Museum of Underwater Archeology now. The remains of the Mausoleum is another must see place in this region. You can find cheap and best hotels that are close to many tourist attractions in this area. The beach hotels in Bodrum overlooking the sea let you enjoy a wonderful holiday.

Turkey is a great country to visit. This new and upcoming power is growing more prestigious in the world and attracting more tourists each year. However, despite all the new people coming to the country, the country is still a great place to visit. Here is why:

1) Value. Holidays in Turkey represent some of the best value breaks in the Mediterranean. It’s a 310 mile route, starting from near Antalya, up to the Anatolian plateau and taking in the Lycean Way. This is arduous, hot walking and camping, but think of the fitness benefits and the bragging potential upon your return.

4) Eastern culture. Turkey Holidays now include destinations in eastern Turkey. Once off limits as a result of the Kurdish troubles, but now far safer, some argue that this is the “real” Turkey and a gateway to the East without the trouble of actually going to Asia. Here, for example, you will find Cappadocia, full of underground villages and cave based hotels.

5) Fantastic hotels. Having recognised the budget airline influx, the providers of holidays in Turkey have made sure that the hotel complexes have upgraded accordingly. There are outstanding beach front hotels in a themed Vegas style (think Kremlin, only hot) and the Queen Elizabeth in Goynuk, which is built as a facsimile of its maritime namesake.

If you are searching for a place to visit, consider going to Turkey. I really enjoy the country and find that it lived up to all the hype.
